Photo Mosaic - what is it?
What exactly is a photo mosaic? A photo mosaic is a large picture made from many small pictures. The small images are arranged in such a way that, when viewed from a distance, they create a completely new image overall.
To create such a picture made from many photos, Rapid-Mosaic is the perfect solution. With the software, or directly online on the website, you can easily create a mosaic collage from your own photos. All you need is a source image for the main motif and enough photos for the tiles. For a mosaic portrait, you should use at least 100 images. The more, the better.
Get started now and create stunning mosaic pictures, for example from your vacation or family photos. Then order your personal mosaic picture as a poster or canvas print. Perfect as a gift or for your own walls. With Rapid-Mosaic, you benefit from our experience gained over more than 10 years of creating mosaics.
You choose: As the only provider on the market, we give you the choice: Do you want to generate the photo mosaic online, without any software? Or would you prefer to use software on your own computer instead?

High-Quality Materials and Various Sizes
We print your mosaic image in collaboration with a local photo service provider on different materials such as canvas, poster, aluminum dibond, or acrylic glass. We ensure that the finished product meets your specifications and adheres to the highest quality standards.
Genuine Photo Mosaics
Our mosaic images are genuine mosaics, meaning each of the small mosaic photos is analyzed and perfectly integrated into the image using a special optimization process. The best position is determined by comparing both colors and contours in the images.
Many mosaic images from other providers are not "genuine," as they merely superimpose the main image over the tiles, and the many small individual images are simply placed side by side.
At first glance, the photo mosaic may look like a mosaic image, but the tiles are not properly arranged.
With a genuine mosaic image, the color of the individual small photos matches much better to the position on the main image. As a result, the main image does not need to be heavily overlaid on the tiles.
Variety of Mosaic Types
Unlike many other providers, we can create not only "normal" mosaic images, where equally sized tiles are arranged side by side and below each other. With us, you can even choose between several mosaic types.
The mosaic images are created using the same algorithm that powers the Photo-Mosaic-Edda. A complex calculation process analyzes the individual tiles and their colors to optimally arrange them for the mosaic effect. Subsequently, a slight overlay of the original image can enhance the mosaic effect to suit personal preferences.
